Hi, I’m Andrew. I’ve been with Sparrow running the Songwriting & Recording Support Work service since October 2020; helping people connect with themselves and their creativity through music and poetry. I love song writing, story, writing lyrics and coming up with melodies. After 30 years of writing music, it’s still magical and special to me. I’m patient, kind, a good listener and is keen to help you tell your story in a new, and perhaps melodic way! You don’t need experience on an instrument, you just have to have a willingness to try something new.

Hiya! I’m Josh, I’m an artist with a passion for empowering everyone to make what their heart desires.
I’m tertiary educated with an Honours degree in Fine Arts. I also have skills in video and audio editing as well as making experimental music.
When I’m not making art I love cooking for my fiance and our friends, experimenting with flavours and learning about different cultures through food. I also enjoy watching footy and cricket, going on walks in nature and relaxing with a good movie or book.

Community Dev & Programs Director
Hey, I’m Jj, and I’ve been working with Sparrow Collective since 2020, I’m extremely passionate about community and have worked in this capacity for the past 20 years. I believe that we are better together!
Being neurodivergent myself, I have some insight into this space - some people need to learn differently, more of a hands-on, side-by-side practical approach to learning and growing together. My heart resonates very much with Sparrow’s ethos, that you are ‘worthy’, and I see that as my main objective to help people to understand and to know their true worth and place in this world and beyond.

I have been privileged to work within a diverse range of communities, and I understand how challenging it can be on the NDIS - accessing the right support with the right people. I love connecting with people to help find life giving services that enable and achieve goals.

Hey, I’m Amy, and in 2019 I began Sparrow. It all started for me with a desire to see how exercise and the arts could be used as vehicles for social transformation and community building. Today, Sparrow Collective is all about one word…WORTHY. Everything we do is to facilitate spaces for people to discover their worth.
My background is in the arts, mainly multidisciplinary theatre, filmmaking, photography and writing. I take great joy in working with our crew to design and create a company that truly cares for people and wants to see their gifts and talents released into the world.
