Steven has a big heart and a love of song. In his professional life, he was a singer for many bands doing lots of gigs every week for decades on end. Despite all of that singing, he hasn’t lost the love of it. Not one bit. Singing lights him up and helps him connect with his creativity and a voice that he can still wield to great effect all these years later. The majority of his experience has been on the live stage, so to step in front of a microphone in a recording studio was quite a shift for him. It’s a skill he soon took to, and even started to pen his own song called “Gonna be alright.” He co-wrote this song with Andrew Kitchen, and his wife Jane also appears on the song doing the backing vocals. It’s the first original song that Steven has written and had professionally recorded.
