Dan is a creative soul. He loves melodies, he writes copious amounts of words and guitar riffs, and then weaves them into songs. Sometimes they’re pretty rockin’, and sometimes they are the most delicate, vulnerable and sincere things that you will have ever heard. There’s depth to his perspective, heart-break in his words and also a mix of celebration of life and humour, despite the angst he experiences often. He’s always got a ready smile and is often more interested in the welfare and well-being of others than he is of his own plight. He plays guitar, and comes up with awesome lyrics at the drop of a hat and often his songs are the beat of his own drum (we call it ‘Dan timing’). Since the last showcase, Dan has recorded 2 full rock albums and plenty of other experimental songs as well. He loves spoken word and has written lots of meditation sessions which have been helpful to him and others as well.
