Hadassah

Hello, I’m Hadassah and I’m a Dance Movement Therapist. I have completed a Master of Dance Movement Therapy at VCA (Melbourne University).  This enables me to use dance and movement to further the physical, psychological, emotional, social and cultural wellbeing of individuals and communities, with a special interest in working with those experiencing mental health struggles and trauma. 

I envisage a world where wellness can be found through the art form of dance and movement. Be it through my own choreography, allowing all to access the art form no matter what their background, or through creating space for people’s inner worlds to be expressed through movement, I can see potential for many to access freedom through this modality.

No dance experience required.

About

Sessions begin by creating some goals which will inform your time together. Some examples of things you may like to explore include, creative expression, emotional regulation, stories and the body, stress reduction, movement for expression, befriending the body or working toward functional and fitness goals.

Support Structure

  • 1:1 sessions with our Movement Therapist.

  • 45min sessions.

  • Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

  • We work with you to create and track toward your goals.

  • In the Sparrow Studio or online.
